We are very fortunate to have strategic partnerships that allow us to provide most of our programs free of charge. However, for requests that go beyond our funded programming, your organization will be responsible for the cost of the program. All signature programs are free of charge to the participants. The NAMI Georgia team will let you know if your program is not funded.

Homefront
Capacity: 30 Duration: 6 Weeks Audience: Family of Veterans  Cost: $2,080
NAMI Homefront is a 6-session educational program for families, caregivers and friends of military service members and veterans with mental health conditions. Based on the nationally recognized NAMI Family-to-Family program, NAMI Homefront is designed to address the unique needs of family, caregivers and friends of those who have served or are currently serving our country. The program is taught by trained family members of service members/veterans with mental health conditions.
SIGNALS
Capacity: 30 Duration: 8 Hours Audience: Caregivers of Youth  Cost: $1,835
With the SIGNALS ™ curriculum, educators and youth development stakeholders can go beyond awareness of mental illness and strengthen the development of positive mental health in children and youth.
The SIGNALS ™ curriculum identifies four “pivot points” of a child’s social-emotional health and wellness.  The Pivot Points are a multidimensional structure to evaluate a child’s underlying skill deficits related to social-emotional and mental health development.
Introduction to Behavorial Health and Addicitive Disease -8 (IBHAD)
Capacity: 30 Duration: 8 Hours Audience: All  Cost: $1,835
IBHAD is an 8hr training designed to provide first responders and other community members with a better understanding of mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. Upon completion of the program, attendees will also be able to identify available community resources, have an overview of national and state mental health laws, and understand basic principles of de-escalation. This training offers continuing education credits for LPCs, LMSWs/LCSWs, and POST. * CEUs and POST credit available for qualified attendees
 Introduction to Behavorial Health and Addicitive Disease-16 (IBHAD)
Capacity: 30 Duration: 16 Hours Audience: All  Cost: $2,000
The 16-hour training program includes all components of the 8-hour instruction as well as educational tools to effectively recognize and respond to those in crisis including:

• Family Perspective
• Suicide Prevention and/or QPR Training
• Assisting Veterans In Crisis
• Principles of De-Escalation
• First Responder Self-Care

In Our Own Voice Presentation
Capacity: 500 Duration: 2 Hours Audience: All  Cost: $500
In Our Own Voice (IOOV) is a unique public education program developed by NAMI, in which two trained consumer/peer speakers share compelling personal stories about living with mental illness and achieving recovery.

Presentations are given to consumer groups, students, law enforcement officials, educators, providers, faith community members, politicians, professionals, inmates, and interested civic groups

Family-to-Family Class
Capacity: 30 Duration: 8 Sessions Audience: Family and Friends  Cost: $760
NAMI Family-to-Family is a 8-session program for family, significant others, and friends of individuals with mental health conditions. Taught by a NAMI-trained family member, this program improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to a person with a mental health condition. The group setting of NAMI Family-to-Family provides mutual support and shared positive impact. This setting also allows you to experience compassion and reinforcement from people who understand your situation. Recovery is a journey, and there is hope.
Peer-to-Peer Class
Capacity: 30 Duration: 8 Sessions Audience: People living in Recovery with a Mental Health condition  Cost: $1,370
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a eight-session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. Taught by trained leaders with lived experience, this program provides an opportunity for mutual support and growth. NAMI Peer-to-Peer provides a safe and confidential space for individuals to experience compassion and understanding from people who relate to your experiences.
CIT-Youth / Youth In Crisis
Capacity: 30 Duration: 20 Hours Audience: All  Cost: $9,600
This 20 hour course provides training for professionals who work with youth on the most common Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) diagnoses of children and youth, contemporary issues that can lead to crisis (i.e., Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, LGBTQ, Cyber-bullying, etc.), how to identify children and youth in crisis, and equip participants with the skills needed to effectively intervene.  Participants will be provided with skills and resources that will assist them in providing safe, healthy environments for children and youth, and refer their parents/caregivers to appropriate professionals/agencies for assistance specific to their child’s needs. * CEUs and POST credit available for qualified attendees
Ending the Silence Presentation
Capacity: 75 Duration: 60 – 90 minutes Audience: All  Cost: $785
NAMI Ending the Silence is a 60- 90 minute presentation for audience members to raise their awareness about mental illness, help them recognize the early warning signs, and reinforce the importance of early intervention. Empowering participants to make a lasting difference in the lives of their youth, this presentation delivers effective tools for suicide prevention. Topics include a) understanding the difference between “bad behavior” and symptoms of a mental health condition; b) recognizing early warning signs; c) communicating effectively with families; d) linking to community resources quickly; e) creating a supportive  environment for all youth. This presentation can be delivered to staff, parents, or to youth.
CIT Youth Train-the-Teacher
Capacity: 30 Duration: 24 Hours Audience: All  Cost: $43,000
This 3 day training certifies adults to instruct CIT Youth classes. The Georgia Youth in Crisis course is designed to be administered by a collaborative team of instructors, both mental health professionals and law enforcement, with relevant subject matter expertise. We need you to help build and strengthen our CIT-Youth team across the state.
CIT-Youth curriculum includes:
•Adolescent development and behaviors
• Most common emotional disorders and circumstances experienced by youth that can lead to crisis
• Crisis intervention, de-escalation, and communication techniques appropriate for youth
• Working with families
• Legal issues
• Community resources for youth and families
Ending the Silence Train-the-Teacher
Capacity: 30 Duration: 8 Hours Audience: All  Cost: $5,425
NAMI Ending the Silence Presenter Training certifies participants to present NAMI Ending the Silence. NAMI Ending the Silence is a 90min presentation designed to educate audience members on the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition. This presentation includes two leaders: one who shares an informative presentation and a young adult with a mental health condition who shares their journey of recovery. After 90mins audience members will have gained understanding of an often-misunderstood topic.
In Our Own Voice Train-the-Teacher
Capacity: 30 Duration: 8 Hours Audience: All  Cost: $5,525

Family Support Group Facilitator Training
Capacity: 30 Duration: 2 Days Audience: FSG members  Cost: $5,370
NAMI Family Support Group Facilitator Training certifies participants to teach the NAMI Family Support Group. NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Led by a NAMI-trained family member, this 60-90 min group allows individuals to gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences. By sharing your experiences in this safe setting, you can gain hope and develop supportive relationships. NAMI Family Support Group Facilitator Training is a two day, engaging and interactive training that teaches the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to be a successful mentor and teacher.
Connections Recovery Support Group Facilitator Training
Capacity: 30 Duration: 2 Days Audience: CSG Members  Cost: $6,205
NAMI Connections Support Group Facilitator Training certifies participants to teach the NAMI Connections Support Group. NAMI Connections Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Led by a NAMI-trained peer, this 90-minute group allows individuals to gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others. NAMI Connections Support Group Facilitator Training is a two day, engaging and interactive training that teaches the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to be a successful mentor and facilitator.
