Rockdale County IBHAD Class Completed
Rockdale County 8-hour Intro to Behavioral Health and Addictive Diseases (IBHAD) class was held on October 22 at Nancy Guinn Memorial Library in Conyers. Thank you to our sponsors for this class, which included: Rockdale County Resource Court, NAMI DeKalb- Rockdale Newton Support Group, and Nancy Guinn Memorial Library. Special guest appearance: Deputy Charles Jenkins, Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office who shared with the class his experience with Crisis Intervention Team for adults and youth. Class presenters included: Danielle Maybury, LCSW, View Point Health, Superior Judge Robert Mumford, (founded and presides over the Rockdale County Adult Drug Court Program), and Mary Maxiom, NAMI DeKalb, who presented NAMI In Our Own Voice.
